Bandung, Unikom — On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at UNIKOM officially sent off three outstanding students from the Department of International Relations who will serve as delegates in the prestigious ASEAN Student Mobility Program 2025. The program will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from February 19 to 25, 2025.
The selected delegates are Armandho Maniagasi, Dinda Amalia Putri C, and Febby Cipta. All three successfully passed the selection process and demonstrated exceptional potential in innovation as well as a deep understanding of regional issues.
The ASEAN Student Mobility Program aims to strengthen relations between countries in the region by providing opportunities for students to study, exchange ideas, and expand their international networks. This program reflects ASEAN’s commitment to supporting academic mobility and enhancing cross-cultural understanding among the younger generation. It also aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
The Department of International Relations Study Program at FISIP UNIKOM strongly supports student contributions in shaping future leaders who will have a global impact. This program offers students a significant opportunity to expand their global perspective and understanding of diplomacy, particularly within the ASEAN region.
